The obsession is still on!

What happens when you leave a man alone in his office?

In this video, you get to see an officer boogie down to the song 'Nobody' by none other than the WonderGirls.

The fact that he was an male officer dancing alone in his office was simply amusing. However, I must say that he does deserve props for having to memorize the entire dance of the song. And not to forget the fact that he actually did the moves over and over again, just to have all of him (You'll get what I mean when you see the video) to be in sync with one another.

Simply an adorable idea!

He sure is enjoying himself! Look at how he sways his hips! He deserves to be on the original WonderGirl's vdeo! What'd you think?

Let's just hope his boss doesn't spot him on Youtube!

Say Hello To Barry

Do you have any idea how many websites you'll get when you type "When you're bored" in the search engine?

Believe it or not, I just spent the last 4 hours (and I'm sure, many more hours to come) typing random things like "Fun stuff", "Scary Stuff" and of course, "When you're bored" and going through each and every site that is shown by Google. And I must say, that till now, I am not disappointed!

From the games that make you feel all stupid but couldn't care less because you have too much time in your hands (I actually played a game where we had to find a key in each "room" of penguins/balls just by clicking on them. Yes, I was
that bored.), to the pictures, stories and videos.

I actually found a site called Scary For Kids and I wanted very much to share some 'Urban Legends', videos, stories and pictures. But I actually 'Chicken-ed Out' because I was actually too horrified after seeing the dolls and clowns pictures, watching the videos, playing the games, and reading the Urban Legends from Japan.

The things I found at the site wasn't what made me terrified, but it was the 'feeling' or rather presence that I felt while reading/watching/seeing them. Besides, there was this "something" that kept stroking my feet under my desk. I was actually too horrified to find out what it was in the dark, given that time wasn't on my side. Go figure.

So I changed to some other site, and found this:

Say hello to Barry. This giant Sea Worm measures at an unbelievable length of 4 feet! Barry apparently 'had launched a sustained attack on the reef in a display tank at Newquay's Blue Reef Aquarium over recent months.

Workers at the Cornwall-based attraction had been left scratching their heads as to why the coral had been left devastated and - in some cases - cut in half.

After staking out the display for several weeks, the last resort was to completely dismantle it, rock by rock.

Halfway through the process the predator was revealed as a four-foot polychaete worm.'

If you think that having 4 foot long worm is 'pretty cool', think again. Polychaete also known as Bristle Worms, are 'closely related to leeches and earthworms'.

'Polychaetes are often called bristleworms because each of the body segments has an upper and lower bundle of bristles (called setae or chaetae) on each side.'

And to make matters worst, 'The tropical worm is capable of inflicting permanent numbness on humans with its sting.'

So don't go near those nasty things.

Click Here, Here and Here to read more about these creatures.

This actually makes me believe that the sea isn't a place for us humans. With the many creatures that swim alongside us, who isn't afraid?

The last thing I want is to die at sea while being stung or coiled up with some 4 foot long slug.

Speaking of deaths, it's really sad that the 'Rojak' incident has already brought a second death to the table. I do hope that MOM or whoever is in charge, finds the source of the bacteria and cure for the infected soon.

It's actually a tragic case to literally die from Rojak poisoning. I guess you never know if anythings' safe enough to consume.

Well before I end this post, can anyone tell me what is wrong with this picture(below)?

It might take awhile, but once you spot it, you'll keep looking at it over and over again. Hahah.

It gets more and more Holy as we speak

Ever had one of those moments where you feel that sudden urge to slowly destroy someone through MSN? Well if you're bored, your mind can make you do wonders.

If you don't already know, I am a fan when it comes messing around on MSN.

You can Click Here and Here. These are two cases where I worked with two partners in crime to come up with a topic in MSN.

And to make this better, I actually found another person who willingly fell into my trap of destruction on MSN.

Before I begin, I'd like to apologize to whoever who feels that I have utterly disgraced their religion and curse that I shall burn in Hell. This was done out of pure sarcasm and boredom. No one was hurt (physically) during and after the making of this conversation.

Note: I have changed the name of the 'victim' to protect his identity or whatsoever. Let's just call him Momok, because I just feel like it.

Here goes:

Momok says:
Hi -------> Don't they always fool you with the Hi(s)?

Kethlyn says:
Hi there. Do I know you or something? Have we met?
------>I wasn’t paranoid for your information. I was just curious, since he had added me quite some time ago, and it was only a few days ago that he decided to chat me up.

Momok says:
No, you don't know me. I found your email on Friendster. Do you mind me adding you?

Kethlyn says:
Well, you’ve already added me, so I guess it's fine.

Momok says:
How are you?

Kethlyn says:
Awesome.

Momok says:
Wow. You are friendly. You really don't mind at all, that I added you?

Kethlyn says:
You call that friendly? And if I’m bothered, you would've long gone be on my 'block contacts'.

Momok says:
What type of people do you block?

Kethlyn says:
People like you, if you're going to keep asking questions. No, I'm kidding. I block perverts that want nothing but boobs and sex. ------------> This was a HUGE mistake. This is where the horror (for him) and the fun (for me) was about to start.

Momok says:
What makes you think I'm not one of them?

Kethlyn says:
Do you believe in God?

Momok says:
I'm all hot and feeling sexy

Kethlyn says:
So is God. You need to sing in praise to our Holy God from the great Heavens above. You need to worship him with all your soul and heart.

Momok says:
I don't care about God. I want you.

Kethlyn says:
How dare you speak of God in that indecent manner! Do you not care of our saviour Jesus Christ who sacrificed himself just so that we could wash away our sins and be saved from the evils of Hell?!?

Momok says:
You’re Christian?

Kethlyn says:
How dare you question my faith and my God! You shall burn in Hell!

Momok says:
Huh. I was just asking.

Kethlyn says:
You shall not question my faith. I shall seek forgiveness for you. I am sure you will be forgiven by God. But you need to embrace our loving Holy Father and our Saviour, his son.

He didn't reply, so I nudged him.

Momok says:
Huh. What do you want?

Kethlyn says:
What do you seek from the Lord?

Momok says:
I want sex, with you…

Kethlyn says:
Holy Lord! One shall not have sex before marriage! I sense a strong sense of negativity in you. Demons! Evil demons are in you!

Kethlyn says:
I summon all the faith in me and the Holy Bible to command the evil demons in you to release your soul! I command you to leave this boy alone!

Momok says:
Huh

Kethlyn says:
Let us all pray together as we try to release the evil demons from your soul. Pray with me!!

Momok says:
Do you want sex? --------> He didn’t learn his lesson.

Kethlyn says:
How dare you question my beliefs in the Holy Bible?!? Pray with me and seek forgiveness for uttering rubbish and humiliating our Holy Father and our Saviour.

Kethlyn says:
Seek forgiveness or be condemned till your balls shrink to peas, and then be plucked out and engulfed by the vicious Satan.

Kethyn says:
Oh merciful Lord, have pity on this lost child for he does not know of your great powers. We shall forgive him and banish him from the pearly gates of Heaven because he has the tongue and soul of Satan.

Kethlyn says:
With all powers in me, and my Lord, I banish you from Heaven, you Satanic Child. You shall serve in Hell for God does not need demonic souls in Heaven.

Momok says:
I gtg

Kethlyn says:
Go, child, go. For you and your seven generations are doomed to have sexuality crisis. Never test the power of God.

And before I could make things any better, he went offline. The next day, I found out that he had blocked me.

By the way, I am a Free-Thinker. I used to visit Churches, then it was to Temples (both Buddhist and Hindu ones). I'm still pretty confused as to what religion to turn to, but I figured that I wouldn't be able to handle the responsibility of one, so I decided to remain as a Free-Thinker.

Like I said, this post is not meant to discriminate any one's religion, and I apologize if you do feel insulted. I recommend letting loose with some sense of humour.

When Beauty became the Beast

It's in the middle of the night and you can't sleep. You're tossing and turning in bed and it wouldn't make matters any better if you're perspiring profusely too.

So what do you do?

You could..

A) Make friends with someone who, just like you, is awake. It'll be a bonus if he/she is just as curious to know of the littlest things in life. Then, get all paranoid by discussing about creatures that irks you. If the conversation is worth the time, your friend might even do research on that topic!

or...

B) Go to Stumble Upon! (This is not a paid advertisement. I just love this site a lot.)

This is a fantastic site that is sure to remove boredom from your life. Not only do they have articles, they have videos, photos and many more! With articles ranging from Arts to Sports you'll definitely find an interest in one of the 12 categories and might even lose yourself when you venture off into the sub-categories of each one!

And better yet, if you do sign up as a member (it's free) and fill in your interests, they'll even send 'recommended sites'(based on your interest) to your email, so that you need not go through the hassle of finding articles you are interested in.

Anyway, being bored as usual, I decided to check out on frogs (don't bother asking why frogs got my interest) and was I amazed of the vibrant colours the poisonous ones had!

But then curiosity got the better of me and I coundn't control my hands. I had to click on the freaky and weird ones, and this is what I got:

(Let's start with the decent ones shall we?)

This is a Cruziohyla calcarifer.

This is a Pouched Frog (Assa darlingtoni)

These are Argus Reed Frog or African Reed Frog (Hyperolius argus)

This is a Heterixalus alboguttatus

This is a Ishikawa's Frog (Odorrana ishikawae)

This is an African Bullfrog (Pyxicephalus adspersus)

This is a Long-nosed Horned Frog (Megophrys nasuta)

I actually think that this looks pretty cool for a frog.

This is a Solomon Island leaf Frog (Ceratobatrachus guentheri)

And on to the nasty ones!

These are Ranita De Cristal (Cochranella albomaculata)

Their insides can really be seen!

These are Waxy Monkey Leaf Frog (Phyllomedusa sauvagii)

I kind of like this one too. They look like laid back monkey or monks, only green.

This is a Crucifix Toad or Holy Cross Frog (Notaden bennettii)

It really defines the term ' Cute'; Ugly, but adorable.

These are Suriname Toad (Pipa pipa)

So flat!

This is a Turtle Frog (Myobatrachus gouldii)

Cravings and Addictions

No worries, this isn't a post about some confession of a drug addiction. Instead, it's my confession for candy addiction! Everyone has a kid in them, and when I see candies all around me, the kid in me is AWOKEN.

After visiting "Heaven" and spotting and 'feeling' all the "as my brother puts it: Antique Candies", I couldn't help but crave for another trip to "heaven". I can't really settle down till' I get myself a bag of Starburst.

(I don't really like Soda Slammers though. I LOVE the Sour Fruit Chews!)

They're my all time favourite candy. And when I got to meet those little suckers, I immediately got hooked to them (my Grand Aunt from Perth got them for me when she came back to Singapore for a visit).

Who can say no to a bag of sweet, sour and chewy delights?!?

If you wanna know more about it, Click Here!

I bet by the time you're done with that site, you'll be up and about to find some too.

The disappointing bit is that "Heaven" doesn't sell tht Sour Fruit Chews, instead they have Jelly Beans. And I know Candy Empire sells them, but heck, they're EXPENSIVE.

Maybe we should head down to the other "Heaven", eh Syuh?

Oh, and I miss Malaysia trips, because I love the Hubba Bubba bubble gum there!

Speaking of cravings and addiction, what's the one craziest thing you have done for any of your cravings?

For me, I had a "Green Tea Day". And that was on 13 April last year. Hahaha, I was
that crazy for Green Tea.

Let me go into DETAIL (just so I can annoy you).

I woke up and got out of bed. I headed to the toilet with my green toothbrush. I took a bath with 'Ginvera Green Tea Shower Gel' (it was funny how this shower gel part totally fitted in for my "Green Tea Day") and got dressed in a green top with 'Dirty Green' Bermudas.

Of course I had to brush my teeth, and with what you say?

Darlie Green Tea toothpaste of course! I had to get myself a small tube of it, and it tasted Gooood...

I didn't really had my breakfast, but I made myself a cup of... Oh you know, Pokka Green Tea! (I managed to get some teabags of Pokka Green Tea from 'Giant', another great store)

Then out I went. To where?

To 'FortSiloso's Herb & Spice Garden! Well, it wasn't really about Green Tea, but Green Tea is part of a herb what.....

Anyway, it was a really great place because being partly Peranakan and a food lover, I got to see the many lovely herbs and spices. It was really tempting to pluck a few to bring home, but I kept my hands to myself. When all was done, I was out of there as quick as I could.

It was still early, so I settled for some 'Green Tea Beancurd' or as how most put it, Tau Huay. It wasn't really good, but it sure had my tummy filled.

(Minus the Kiwis and the glamour bowl. Mine was in a Tupperware. Again, this was from the web).

Skipping lunch, I decided to wander around Singapore. (Fast forward...) And managed to get my hands on some Green Tea Ice Cream.

green+tea+ice+cream+on+cone Pictures, Images and Photos
(That's not my hand by the way, I got all my pictures from the web. and I know it looks like Cow Dung.)

I didn't really like it at first, and the fact that it looked like that(above), it wasn't helping much. You know how light is an oxymoron of dark? And how good is any oxymoron to evil? Well, ice cream is pretty much an oxymoron to Green Tea.

I had to finish up the ice cream before I could move on, and something miraculous happened. As I gulped down the ice cream, my taste buds grew more and more in love with it. Maybe my taste buds were numb from the cold of the ice cream, but after I was done with the ice cream, I wanted more!

But I couldn't stay for another one, because I had to complete my 'Green Tea Day'! I then visited 'Farmart Centre'. Again, it wasn't about Green Tea, but at least it was still Green!

"Imagine walking through the plots, enjoying the growing lushness of green vegetables, smelling the flowers or admiring the trees with their bundles of fruits while experiencing the joy of harvesting the produce you have selected..."

The place was simply amazing. The organic section was pretty much fresh and clean. It was really alluring to get some of the stuff there, home. And true enough, I did! I made my way home with a few bags of veggies and potted plants.

While trying to stuff the bags of groceries into the fridge which was already so full that it could explode, I found myself a packet of Kit Kat.

What has it got to do with Green Tea? Well, it was Green Tea Kit Kat!

I think it was from someone who got it for us from overseas, but it sure wasn't good! Like the ice cream, it was an oxymoron to Green Tea, because it was too sweet, which eliminated the bitterness that Green Tea has.

I decided to ransack my fridge and found myself the piece of Green Tea cake that I wanted to try, but was saving it for "this moment". To make it more Geen Tea-ish, I bought a can of Green Tea from the vending machine that near the void deck of my home.

(The cake wasn't really shaped like that. Nor was the Green Tea. But this was the closest I could find in the web).

I was really bored because I couldn't find any Green Tea games or shows to watch, and so I left to wander around Causeway point.

Causeway point wasn't really a fan of Green Tea, so I ended up walking around in Cold Storage. I found some really nice smelling tea (I know, it's not supposed to be involved in "Green Tea Day", but it wouldn't hurt trying it out on another, would it?)

After spending quite a lot of time in Cold Storage, I checked out at the counter with the nice smelling tea. Hahha.

It was nearing to dinner, and my tummy was rumbling, so I settled down at Starbucks to try their Green Tea Frappucino. I was really scared of trying it at first because I thought that melon syrup with whipped cream would ruin the Green Tea taste. But curiousity got the better of me and I ordered one for myself.

I was actually surprized at how good it tasted! Well, the melon syrup and whipped cream did ruin the bitterness of it, by shocking you with the sweetness. The ice wasn't really blended properly but hey, it was still pretty okay for a first time. People around me thought I was some weirdo when they saw me drinking delightedly from the straw.

That was the first, and it pretty much wasn't the last time I will be trying it. I've not made any specifications to change the drink yet though.

Maybe next time, I'll try it without melon syrup and whipped cream. And maybe make sure that the ice is blended properly. (Whaaat? I paid the money, so I expect it to be done up to standard every time. Consumer's right. Hahah)

Dinner wasn't really "Green Tea" so let's skip that part shall we? But I did have Green Tea as my drink during dinner though.

Anyway, once home, I decided to wash up with my 'Ginvera Green Tea Shower Gel' before making myself a cup of all natural Green Tea. This was a bag specially bought by my mum's friend from Japan. I didn't realyl carry out with the pounding and stuff. It was paste, so all I had to do was to pour water, sift it, then pour water again.

It was Goooooood.

Before bed, I had my teeth brushed with my green toothbrush and 'Darlie Green Tea toothpaste' again.

And that was how I ended my "Green Tea Day"!

(Note: I was alone throughout the day because no one was crazy enough to have "Green Tea Day" with me. But my family didn't really care that I had been eating green tea stuff all day, because as how they put it "Kethlyn always beats the word 'weird' just by being herself".

Quiz!

Found this off of YiLing's blog. I was curious enough to do it, and my results were pretty... true. I fear disappointment.

I think you guys should try it too, and see if it really tells of what you are indeed afraid of.

Here's mine.

What is your True Fear?
Your Result: Disappointment

You are a fun-loving, energetic, and cheerful person. You love adrenaline rushes, and going out at night. You constantly have to be having a great time to feel completely happy. Your biggest fear is not having anything to do, or having a huge disappointment/let down in your life. You hate being sad, and if something in your life suddenly went wrong it would be extremely hard for you to deal with. Just remember that everyone has to deal with hard times. Stay strong, and pretty soon your fun, party life will get right back the way it used to be.
