The grass is greener on my side

I'm doing this post on behalf of Yun Kwang and Yvonne's request. Hahah, here goes.

1. At what age do you wish to marry?
I have no clue. I guess the main thing is to earn big $$ settling down in my own home and letting my mum retire before getting married.

2. What I want the most now?
4E3 to win the best class award!

3. Who is the person you trust most?
My mum.

4. Do you think u have enough confident?
Yeah.

5. If you can have 1 dream to come true, what would it be?
To be one of the most respected MP in Singapore? Lol

6. If you can have 1 more dream to come true, what would it be?
My wish is for everyone to move ahead in life, and not turn back in regret. Stop all the wars, the bombings, the criticism, the racism, the sexism. And to have equal distribution of food, and money to all countries. That's more than one wish. Lol. All in all, i just wish that everyone gets HELP.

7. What are you afraid to lose the most now?
My loved ones

8. How do you find yourself? A friendly person?
I may look like an ass to you, but if you really know me, I can be a great friend.

9. If you meet someone that you love, would you confess to him/her?
Sure, why not?

10. How would you spend the 200 bucks if you have to?
Give half to my mum, and spend the rest by feasting with my friends.

11. What are the requirements that you wish from your the other half?
Has a sense of humour, adventurous, knows how to draw the line between joke and serious and is CRAZY.

12. Which type of person do you hate the most?
I don't think I'd hate bitches, backstabbers and all, because I feel that everyone do lie at a point of time. If you lie and pretend that you didn't, aren't you a hypocrite? Talking to the opposite sex doesn't make you a flirt, nor a bitch. I wouldn't do to an extend of hating someone, just disliking. I think the most that i dislike are TWITS.

13. Do you cherish every single of your friendship?
i love making friends, but somehow they(some, not all) don't turn out to be the ones that really has an impact on life. It's either their behavior, character or something else.

14. Will u rather be alone than in a group ?
I never like being alone, unless I'm with a bunch of jerks who have no idea on how to behave.

15. What do you think is the most important thing in your life?
Everything seems to be important, so important that we fail to actually know which are important and which aren't. My family and friends are important.

16. If you ever get a billion dollars, where do you want it to come from?(e.g get it from work, toto, inheritance)Why?
I'd prefer to get it from hard work, because I'd be able to feel that sense of satisfaction, that I'm being hard working and not slacking my butt off.

17. At this point of time, would you rather stay in your comfort zone or try something new?
Try something new. You never know when it's the last for you.

18. What kind of friend you hope to be in your friends eyes?
Someone who they can turn to when they need to get things off their chest. Someone whom they can confide in, but also someone who they can crack jokes with.

19. If you have a chance. Which part of your character you would like to change?
I wouldn't change anything. Because it defines who I am.

20. If today was the last day for you, what would you do?
I would do all the extreme and craziest activities and definitely thank those close to me, for being there for me. And definitely spend the rest of my time with friends and family..

Instructions:Remove 1 question from above, and add in your personal question, make it a total of 20 questions, then tag 6 people in your list, list them out at the end of this post. Notify them in their chat box that he/she has been tagged. Whoever does the tag will have blessings from all.

Anyone who want to do this, shall do it.

Ups and Downs

Life in class can never be more fun than having Yap Jia Min seated beside you. She's one crazy girl who laughs so hysterically, one who makes you feel as though you've just cracked a great hilarious joke. She has one unbelievable way of imagining things and you'll never leave Mrs.Raj class without seeing JiaMin laughing, tilting her head back as she "tries to swallow the whole chunk of joke". Sitting with her in class always makes me feel like I'm in the happiest/tipsy place ever.

She even made me forget the nursery rhyme:Humpty Dumpty.. I called it :the egg that swings from side to side"hahah

School today was acceptable. Bio SPA was a "paper that automatically digs my grave".

After Bio SPA, I went home with Syuh and Jeanice. Syuh tricked Jeanice and I into believing that Milo McFlurry was nice. But we were SO WRONG.
All we did later was to sit, talk, and laugh ALOT.

Just when we thought that everything was going smoothly, things turned around. It's a session of "let's talk with lemons".

End.

Buaiibuiexx worhxx, takkiie carrex. Moii xiiao gurl lurbs evewiieone!

It's really funny. Well, at least to me.

Ready, Set,Go!

It's been a long while since I last posted.

My class came in 2nd for Debates and Netball Inter class. But there's definitely more achievements on our way.

MID YEAR EXAMS are a in a few weeks from now, and everyone seems to be experiencing a great sense of urgency, a need to rush for time.

Days have passed, only to make me weaker and weaker. The "challenges" of facing the big O is stressing me out, not because of it being near, but because my friends are making me panic.

Everyday seems to be long and dreary. The enthusiasm of learning is slowly seeping out of me, and in the end, I become a dead log sitting at the back of the class. Our days are numbered and we feel lethargic. We need to slow down.. But time is catching up on us, so how?

But I'm glad to have great friends like Aainaa, Shera, Syuhada, Jeanice, Vanessa, Natalie and not forgetting Ms ACTION LIM. These people are the ones who have always been there whenever I need to unwind myself.

Syuh and Jeanice are definitely the greatest crapping partners, as we can laugh all day about plainly, NOTHING. The thought of eating ice cream is both dreadful yet exciting and interesting. Exciting and interesting because we can do all wonders just with a cup of ice cream, and dreadful because of the thought of spitting out the ice cream because we've too hard.

I believe that the crappiest friends are the best friends that you can have because not only are they there to spend time with you, they actually take your worries away..

The magic of being crappy. Hahah.

Life's been a bore. Nothing much is happening, except the oncoming birthdays like Jeslynn(over), Joel and Colin, and not forgetting my twin, Guan Wei.

I'll end this boring post with a few videos. Ones that I've been watching over and over again, because I simply love it.

More videos

This video is shows a guy ("making fun" of the songs)dancing to different songs of different genres and time of release. What's so interesting about this video is that, when you see him dance, you'll start thinking to yourself "omg, that is actually true!".

This is a really cool video done by someone, making fun of Paris Hilton by rephrasing her lyrics in her OWN song "stars are blind" or something like that. Oh yah, the girl in the video really looks like her, but the only fact is that she's much more tanned than Paris Hilton. But she looks like Nichole Richie too. Hahah

And the last one.

Ever had this dreadful feeling that your mom is going to nag at you? Or that you do have moms who nag at you constantly that you could practically remember everything she said?

Why not go impress your mom? Learn this song by heart and recite it to her, telling her that she has such sweet words that it keep ringing in your head. She'll definitely be impressed, and MAY stop nagging at you.

Videos to brighten up your day

This post is dedicated to all who feel bummed out over a stressful day, week, relationship, or even life.

The best remedy to cure a stressed out a person, is actually to hear/see someone laughing. And who can without fail, make us laugh? BABIES!!!

Cute baby laughing

This baby is so cute! The baby was laughing so hard, that he/she practically toppled over

This is REALLY cute. It was also shown on the Ellen DeGeneres show.

And the last one. Never underestimate a baby. Because you never know if the baby is a prodigy in disguise. In fact, this is a break dancing prodigy.

Holiday = No Holiday

Its the March Holidays now. It doesn't seem like a holiday to me though, mainly because we have more homework piled on our desk as compared to a normal school day.

It's Wednesday already, and "MS Lazy" is starting to kick in, but soon after I indulge in some feast or be amused by some entertainment, the God of Reality begins kicking me in my ass, pushing "MS lazy" away with all her procrastinations. I then get punished and have to head to my desk to complete my homework. But within minutes of intense doodling, I begin to doze off and before you know, I'm in my dreamland, only to wake up with a rude shock of drool all over my arms and paper.

Come on, everyone needs a break. An average human can never work 24/7 without rest, entertainment or plainly slacking around. If you're reading this and am completely disagreeing to it, you are a robot.

Schools shouldn't call holidays as holidays if they are planning to throw tonnes of homework as us. Instead, it should be called "Days where you are trained to be a robot".

Teachers always think that we, students are wasting time watching TV, playing computer games and all, when we SHOULD be studying, reading or doing something relevant to studies.
True, I agree on that. But inside each and everyone of us, there lies a kid who seems to not sit still for a mere second, finding books boring and having to be FORCED to study instead of appreciating the opportunity to study. I mean, you can't blame us. Blame the kid in us.
Then there's parents. My parents for example, hate to see me studying. Most parents have this concept of home as a place for family bonding or something like that.. And will definitely take their children out for holiday trips during March and June Holidays.
So, picture this scenario where a child has tonnes of homework to be done in a week. The child being frustrated enough at the short amount of time to complete these homework. And to add to that, parents who think that these holidays should be spent in family outings and things that can bond the family. And the child (already peeved) gets scolded by his/her parent because of spending too much time locked up in the room. Parents blame it on "the time where Adolescence think that family is not important". But in actual fact, we are actually doing our homework!

Agree??

Only those who dare to fail greatly, can achieve greatly

The past few weeks have been a wondrous journey to a whole new aspect to life.

A few things that I would like to touch on.

1.The Adam Khoo's workshop "I'm gifted so are you" was fantastic. It taught many new things that could indeed change our life. One in fact, was to have a belief. Having a belief will definitely help one to achieve your goal in life. Failure is never considered a bad thing, but is a learning experience. Change of strategy will definitely switch one back on the right path to success. Our three trainers, Stuart, Danny and Andrea were three of the most awesome people one could ever meet. Their success stories have indeed inspired us to work hard, towards our goal. Techniques were also taught to help us in studying. This workshop is the best and one would regret if you didn't attend it.

2.I'm involved in the debate that is held yearly. My team and I actually made it to the Finals for the Upper secondary category! It was unexpected but i must say that we couldn't have won had it not been for our teachers. Thank you!

3.Today, my class had a meeting on some "issues". Many were unhappy about it and i admit, that I was a little too harsh on my words. I apologize. However, I feel that it's better to say what is bugging your heart rather than to keep things bottled up,when you know that things should be done to make the class better. I'm not trying to pin point here, but i truly feel that if you do have the class at heart, you'll definitely see who is serious about things and who aren't.

4.Today is officially, the last day for all the graduating volleyballers.
Everyone did have a ball of time and many held their tears back because they didn't want the others to be sad. I too, felt sad and wanted to cry my eyes out, but I learn that crying doesn't mend things. Coach told me to think of it this way: Everyone has to leave someway or the other.
My only advice is, to treasure your time with your team, because when it's time for you to leave, you shouldn't look back and think "i should have done something to make us bond/ we should have been closer".
No one is perfect in this game. Never under estimate yourself, because every single one of you do play a part in bridging the gap between all differences. Never compare and say that "I wish I could play like that person". Work hard in achieving your dreams as an individual, as well as a team. I feel sorry that my team didn't make it to the Nationals but we have indeed shown that we are capable of doing great wonders.
There were times when we had disagreements, we argued. But i must say, that this team is indeed the wackiest one i have ever known.
Don't be sad. Be happy that all of us actually became ONE and we shared laughter, tears, and even fear together. Reminisce the past and put a 100% effort into your training and you'll definitely emerge as champions.

I'd like to dedicate a song to all B Div volleyballers. "Check it out"(Inside joke)

When You Believe

The next song actually goes out to COACH and all teachers, if they are reading.

Thank you, especially coach, for all that you have done. I know there were times when we just piss off. We've made you shed buckets of tears for us. But thank you, for being there for us. Thank you for not giving up in us, and in me. Thank you for spending your tuesdays, thursdays and saturdays with us, just to train us. Even though you were injured, you never made that an excuse to not coach us. There have been times when you wanted to give up on us. But you did not. Thank you for believing in us, because without you, we would be nowhere. All of us, are very touched by the efforts that you put in to train us. We are also aware that you actually put your family aside to concentrate on coaching us.
Thank you. You are definitely OUR hero.
