Judgement Day

Well, many would call it Judgment Day. But I think today was a day where the anticipation was finally over, and thus I felt more relieved than nervous while waiting, and when I got my results.

I wouldn't say that I was disappointed at all, because, truth to be told, I never really set expectations for myself. But it was a bummer that Biology decided to betray me. But I guess Mr Lim's story of the Farmer and Rabbits did help me.

But I did pass freakin' Chinese! Not only am I happy, but proud of it. Well, it may be a low score for you, but hell no for me! It's my first ever passing mark for Chinese since Secondary Two! It had been F9 for a long time, that I felt elated upon seeing a C5 on my paper!

And English has never ever betrayed me. And I am happy that I managed to stay in Mrs. Raj's class. Not only have I learned alot from her, both in general knowledge and skills wise, but she has also inspired me (other than my mum) to be an educator.

Anyway, I do hope everyone's doing fine. To all the lads and babes out there, you guys better set some time to think of what school to apply.

All the best everyone!

Open Houses!

<span class=Photobucket" border="0">

That's Soo Ah Quek, the new version of Johnny from Outsiders. It's the literature "art" piece I was talking about here. And yes, it was done by me, back when I was in secondary two. It did crack my classmates and myself up. And it still does!

Anyway, I spent the entire of yesterday with Syuhada and Mak Nenek Jeanice. We visited some of the polytechnics, namely SP, NP and NYP. The places weren't as
happening as we expected them to be, but we had fun trying to find ways to escape from some people.

The day ended with Syuh struggling with her killa' shoes and Jeanice with a hole in her hair. Hahah.

But it didn't end there. Syuh and I, just like back in school days, sat and we talked and talked and talked. It was really nice having the chance to catch up with her. Despite not seeing her since the last of our papers, we never had a moment of awkwardness, not at all.

This is what true friends are. You may not be able to see or talk to them for a long period of time, but when you do, nothing changes, and you can just click back, as though it was only yesterday that you guys met. They don't have to say a word or be present, and yet you know that they do care for you. You don't feel awkward around them because you know that they like you for who you are, so you need not bother about what to say or how to behave. You can talk about issues that are simply random, or you can go in so deep without being sensitive about it. They are the ones who are fun-loving, yet now when to draw the line. They are the only ones who look at your flaws and tell you the truth to help you improve on your well-being. But they are never the ones who make fun of you, or hate you for your flaws.

True friends are people who don't question the term
friendship.

Back to School!

Yesterday did not go as well as I planned.

I slept pretty late the previous night, and so I obviously woke up late, around 1 plus. Well, I was supposed to head back to school at 1pm.

Anyway, I made my way there, and at the gates I saw fellow school mates, like Samuel. I entered the school and that was when all the problems started.

The security guard stopped me and didn't let me in, because I had dyed hair and because there were several studs on my ears. I tried calling my juniors and teachers, but no one picked. It was pretty embarrassing, having to stand there while others could go in.

The security guards did apologize, but I don't blame them. Well, they were simply doing their jobs.

Well, I did take it for granted that I was an alumni, and could go in as and when I wished, but I was proven wrong. While standing there, the security guards actually told me that there were other cases, where a boy had to go home to change because he came in shorts. And Apple who works in our book shop, wasn't allowed in because she had a tattoo, but she was later let in because she wasn't a student, but because she worked there.

Even parents were questioned before they were allowed to sign in.

I was told that I had to actually come back in school uniform because I have not collected my certificate.

I admire the school for their discipline, but I do question where they draw the line.

Anyway, after standing there for about an hour, Ms Lim came to my rescue with Ms Choo! We talked for awhile and then I actually went back to Admiralty, to "dye" my hair. Then, I headed back to school.

I was greeted by Qian Wen, whom I almost lost my pants to by her "Cling-Wrap" hug. Hahah. It was really nice to see some of the teachers, and friends who went back to help out too.

Well, good times do not last long, and before we knew it, everyone were packing up to head home. Jayda, Cheryl and I then headed to the hall to watch the performances. They were pretty neat, but I was paying more attention to the Seconday ones. There were a few familiar faces; the kids which I looked after back when I was a prefect in Primary School. Cheryl and Jing Yee's siblings were in this batch too.

I did spend a great day reminiscing the "good ol' days". But I did see some unpleasant people there. But after that day, I have finally decided to let it go. He and Her may not have made my life in school a good one, but I'm fine with them now, so long as they keep their distance. I hate making enemies, and I would never treat anyone with disrespect, unless they do the same to me. But I guess it's not worth it, after all, wouldn't you be like them if you treated them like how they treated you?

So to the Him and Her, let's bury the past okay? I am sure I have.

Spring Cleaning

I know it's kind of a wrong time to do Spring Cleaning, with Christmas being only FIVE days away. And it doesn't make things any better, knowing the fact that I have not bought any gifts for anyone whatsoever. But heck, can't we celebrate Christmas without presents? Hahaha, just you, me and FOOD.

Anyway, back to the spring cleaning. Well, I didn't really spring clean the entire house, nor did I clean my entire room. I just did a portion of my room. And despite throwing two filled thrash bags, my room looks the same, worst in fact. I guess that's what happens when you're not doing it completely.

Well, I was clearing off my Secondary One and Two books, yes the old ones. And I must say, I did scribble alot of nonsense on ALOT of papers! There were doodles, drawings, and even "THIS IS SO BORING" signs on papers.

And I found some treasures! Well, not real treasures, but ones that I'll remember for a long time. I didn't take any photos of them except one.

Well the first one, was kind of an obsession. I used to be drawn to Gothic fonts, the decorative types. And I would design the same fonts in Gothic style whenever I can. There were projects, where I did the presentations on construction paper, with the fonts of course. Then there were science projects, where I did "LIGHT" and actually had the font done in Gold Gothic fonts. And there were many others. It was a tedious work but I really liked doing it, so no complains.

Then I found my Home Econs file, and I finally understood why my teacher didn't like me that much. I wrote all the wrong Vitamins and their purposes. And my sewing was atrocious. I kinda' feel bad for monkeying around back then. But it was still fun, because all I did in her class was iron clothes for others, and take ribbons, ALOT of them. But I would like to add, that I am definitely better at sewing than back then. Hahah.

Next up, I found my Art pieces. I showed some of them here in my blog. And I guess Art was my best subject, I never failed it, and never gotten Cs before. I'm not bragging, just proud that there's at least one subject I was good in. But unfortunately, it wasn't offered when I went to Sec.3. Oh well, Art was also another obssession. I loved vectors, and mystical creatures. I loved shading flowers and always had a little man in my art pieces, whether it was relevant or not. He had to be spotted, he was either in a parachute, flyign down with an umbrella, or sliding down some curve. But I guess the reason why I enjoyed Art class the most, was because I felt free, I could draw anything I wanted, based on how I interpreted the title of each drawing.

And last, I found my literature file! Literature class was really enjoyable, but one class I remember the most was when we were tasked to draw the "After" look of Johnny or PonyBoy from the story "Outsiders". I'll upload the photo of the "after" Johnny that I drew. It's was really disgusting! The guy had elf-like ears, two ponytails, a beard, snob flowing down his nose, and flies flying above his head! Hahah.

Oh, and I found the "Anti-Twit"pledge that Syuh, Raudah and I made! Fret not, I'm long over the Anti-Twit thing, and I'm sure the rest are too. But boy, looking at the names, the reasons, the pledge, and how to spot them, everything was so damn hilarious. This is definitely going to be in my cupboard for a long time, I don't think I'm going to throw it away. Hahhaa.

Any idea on what to get for friends? It's been awhile since I did hardcore shopping, so I'm kinda' stuck. Help?

Looking through the book cover

We had training today, one which I was terribly not on form, and had to often replay the few seconds that had passed in my mind, just so that i could spot my own mistake. Felt really hopeless. Oh well..

After training, I decided to join Jing Yee, Cheryl, Yvonne and Qian Wen for lunch. That was when the fun began, because while Cheryl and Jing yee were spotting the "misfits" of the crowds from the table at Long John Silver, QianWen, Yvonne and I shared experiences that we had gone through in our Mother Tongue classes.

After lunch, we decided to walk around, aimlessly finding a place to sit. I saw Ms ACTION Lim too!

We decided to head to metro and kiddy palace, where we all settled our eyes on the toys. Shortly after, jing Yee went home, leaving QianWen, Cheryl, Yvonne and I, to occupy ourselves. We decided to settle down at the Goods Lift area, where more of our deep dark secrets were revealed.

I must say, that a year has gone by, and that i do believe the bonds that we have with our friends have gotten so much better, or for the worst. I believe, that our team has indeed bond together in a much better way.

Anyway, the Deep dark secrets thing was a really big turning point for cheryl and I because we actually revealed all the nasty things that we had done in Primary school. From how Cheryl and someone made another kid cry, to how cheryl, some other pri friends and I climbed the gates of WDP, to how Cheryl and I vandalised about someone

. It was hilarious recalling back all the times where we did nonsensical stuff just for the fun of it. And I think Yvonne and Qian wen were pretty shocked as to how they had expected us to behave. Hahaha.

But Yvonne, Qian Wen, Cheryl and whoever who knows, I'm actually a really GOOD GIRL!!! XD

Lets bygones be bygone. Let go of the past, love the present, and look forth to the Future! LOL!
