Who You Really Are

But don’t forget who you really are. And I’m not talking about your so-called real name. All names are made up by someone else, even the one your parents gave you. You know who you really are. When you’re alone at night, looking up at the stars, or maybe lying in your bed in total darkness, you know that nameless person inside you…Your muscles will toughen. So will your heart and soul. That’s necessary for survival. But don’t lose touch with that person deep inside you, or else you won’t really have survived at all.

Anger Management

As I type this, I am trying to get over a certain anger that is building up in me. The kind of anger where you feel like punching slow walking people at the back of the head, or throwing things just to see it break.

<span class=

Fortunately, I did not unleash my great powers (just let me exaggerate okay. Hahah) as I saved myself by having some "Me time". I sang aloud to songs, skipped around the house, boogied to music videos, cuddled my dog, threw pillows around, and even waved to the pedestrians at the MRT station outside my window. Unfortunately, my dad was at home, so I couldn't do anything extreme. But he didn't bother about me anyways.

Now the reason as to why I am angry is not important. What's more important is how to deal with anger.

Often, anger pushes us to the brim, where we feel like ripping our shirts like the Incredible Hulk.

Now why is it so hard to get over Anger? Well, it's basically because it is associated with "Forgive and Forget".

Often, it is said that if you can forgive, then you can forget about it. One can't forget the issue without forgiving the person. And so, your anger will subside once you're done with the forgiving and forgetting.

In most religions, like the Christians, they believe that one should always forgive the person who triggered their "anger button".

There were quotes like this: (and no, I am not a Christian, but it wouldn't hurt to read about it, would it?)

  • But I say unto you, love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in Heaven for he maketh his Sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain in the just and the unjust. (Matthew 5:44,45)
  • Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say unto thee, until seven times: but seventy seven times (Mathew 1:21,22)
And then there a quotes by famous people:

  • The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong (Mahatma Gandhi)
  • There is no revenge so complete as Forgiveness. ( Josh Billings)
  • To err is human, to forgive is divine (Alexander Pope)

Or if you really can't do all that, screw it. Just punch your brother or something!

Christmas Wish

I was thinking of my Christmas Wish just now, and while writing it down, one of them was already granted! Now I know Christmas wishes are only to be granted on Christmas Day itself, but I guess this one can't wait.

Well, the wish was to actually have all my friends, if not most, to pass their "N" level Examinations. And I'm happy to say that the dear ones that are closest to my heart(You know who you guys are!) have cleared their "N" obstacle.

I must say, it was pretty nerve-wrecking, waiting for them to tell me their results. And around 2.35, Yiling buzzed me. She tried acting on the phone that she wasn't promoted, but her goofy "Hello Keth lynnnn!!" gave everything away. Hahaha. I was "harassed" further by her "SEXY VOICE" as claimed by herself, and was told that other friends did well too!

I was really happy for her, and told her that I would treat her for some Ice Cream some other time, and being the Goddess of Food that she is, she couldn't stop reminding me about the treat. Hahaha.

Received a few SMS from some of the rest telling me they did well too! I was kind of sad that I wasn't there to celebrate with them. But I am, without a doubt for all of them! And I do hope that all of them do progress farther in their journey in Life!

Anyway, back to the wish list. Well, usually wish lists are of things that people want, like a new hoodie, or something like that. But my wish list is going to be unique, and can only be granted if Santa Claus can really hear me loud and clear.

Three wishes, that's all I want.

First Wish: To forever have money in my pocket. I'm not asking for billions of dollars, nor am I asking for a huge bulge in my pocket. Just money in my pocket, so that I have enough to pay for my family, and my own needs.

Second Wish: For everyone, especially close ones(family and friends) to my heart, to be in the pink of health. This is so that I can repay them with all the love that they have showered on me. And also so that they can enjoy their lives without having to worry about their health. I'm not asking everyone to be immortal, just be in good health.

Last Wish: I would hand this wish to anyone out there in the world that needs it more than I do. I would love to grant someone else's wish, just to see a light of hope, faith and happiness in their faces.

So what's your Christmas Wish list like?

Loves.
