So here I am, back into blogging. This has been in my draft for so long. Oh what the heck.
Let's just go into the details for all the events that happened so far.
Let's start with RHD.
Well, RHD was pretty UNfabulous, for the fact that i missed out all the bazaar, activities and FOOD! I was the emcee for the concert, together with Faten. But boy, it was so disastrous! The performances were told to us last minute and we had to plan the Cat-walk(last minute as well) for the 3R and best dressed participants. And the hardest thing was that i was dressed in Aainaa's Malay costume, and it took me ages just to go up the steps.
The concert was not as fun as we thought, with Faten and I blurting "fuck" on the microphone every once or twice.
I felt bad, as it was partly the emcee's fault if the event goes cuckoo. But whatever.Sometimes we score, sometimes we don't.
Anyway, moving on.. to National Day
The WRSS Bay Ambassadors are one of a kind, and i mean it in a good way. We had a so called opening performance for the National Day concert in school where we sang "will you". Everyone were goofy up on stage, trying to remember the steps that were taught and trying to have fun all at the same time.
After our performance, we went and got ourselves seated, and all throughout the concert, we were practically screaming our heads off at anything or anyone that came up on stage. I still remember Aziz, with his red and white face. We were his number one fan and kept screaming like some bitches in some rock concert, whenever he came up on stage to receive a prize.
And at the end of the day, We, the bay ambassadors went up on stage again, to sing with the teachers and student leaders' council "stand up for Singapore". I remember accidentally hitting Malek with my Singapore flag, while all of us were jumping around. But i guess he forgot about it and enjoyed himself most because he got to hit the photographer with every paper plane that he threw.
Malek + Paper planes + photographer = Happy boy (Malek).
After the concert, the bay ambassadors had photo=taking with i-forgot-who.
After that, everyone were told to go home early because we had to usher the next day, which was National Day.
And then the next day came, and we, WRS bay ambassadors were on duty again. Most of us were pretty hyped up and sang throughout the whole day, even on the bus home.
But this day was a special day, not only was it National Day, but it was a day where WRS students are tasked to pick up the bags of litter, to promote the "bag-a-litter" campaign and also make Singapore alitter free environment. Oh well, so much for my speech.. hahah.
AND I STILL WANT THE ORANGE NDP BAG!!!
Anyway, being the Deputy Chief for WRS Bay ambassadors, all i want to say to the bay ambassadors is that you guys really did a great job. I mean you guys have shown me how well you could take up the responsibilities when given to you. And i super love you guys for being enthusiastic. Though childish, but we're still kids right?
All of you have shown how mush you guys have bonded together, even for some guys and girls to, if you know what i mean.
Anyway, i would like to thank all of you, for making my part easier so that i dont have to scream and yell at everyone all the time. Just keep up the good work people, we shall all celebrate together some day!!!
I know this is long, but let me just complete this last one.
2E3 BBQ reunion, and farewell "party" for MR Wong.
The day started where i met Syuhada at Causeway point and we headed to Parkway Parade. The both of us were anxious because we had a feeling of taking the wrong bus. Crazy stuff started coming up, where we thought about the bus breaking down halfway and Syuhada said it reminded her of jeepers creepers. See what i mean?
Anyway, when we reached our destination, we had to wait for Malek, who looked like an innocent kid from far. HEH, was his trademark. haha
After Malek came, we were ready to go the the BBQ, but here was the huge problem, we didn't know how to go there. So Malek with his innocent looks went to ask around, and a kind couple actually helped us get there.
Stupid thing was, Malek actually knew how to go there. Pfft.
Anyway, the underpass was pretty scary where the thought of seeing the supernatural kept invading into our minds. Anyway, we came out alive, and we headed to our pit. Little did we know that the bloody pit was so fucking far that all three of us almost cried. We even said that we might shed 20 pounds or more when we finally reach the pit. And Malek said he would look like some aneroxic kid, since he's already thin.
Fortunately, we made it before the food was all gone. But the one thing that pissed us off was that, they actually began eating without us. But when we came, the three of us immediately conquered the pit and no one was allowed to go near it. Anyone who did, either got trashed by us or simply walked away as we took their food away.
After awhile, Mr wong came and it was no surprise to us. We just went : oh he's here. Whatever.. Food was pretty good, except the fact that Syuhada tried the sea coconut and made us try it too. We even nicknamed it "cicak tail." And Bryan was so happy that he learned a new malay word. "Cicak tail". ahaha. I sometimes wonder what the hell is wrong with him. Anyway, moving on...
The BBQ ended quite late as Bryan, Pearlyn, Syuhada, Kuan Hoe and I sat around, talking about the supernatural(Malek left early to meet someone, whatever that means. It was a really cool place to talk about these sort of stuff as it freaks you out every once in awhile. And the Sea breeze helped to make it eerie too. Weird, i know.
Supernatural talk was over and done with, and weird topics like dogs, BGR and parents came in. It became more of a compare and contrast session. Oh, and not to forget the counselling session with Kuan Hoe. It was cool to see how each of us had different opinions and looked at each situation from different perspectives. Syuhada and i were basically critising the fairer sex. Weird, but we felt that the fairer sex sometimes do stupid stuff just to get attention. I guess we're the In-betweens. Whatever..
Our trip back home was rather suckish. Took taxi from East coast to Woodlands MRT and we all walked home. I was the last to reach home. I was quite furious during this trip because of some pussies. Anyways, I'll just let bygones be bygones.Let's move on..
Reached home, bathed and watched TV all the way. Headed to my room after awhile and switched on the computer. Played some stupid games for the sake of passing time. Sleep finally took me over as the sandman placed sand into my eyes and the God of Beds kept calling my name over and over again. It was 9am, and i dozed off.

I'm back
I know that I've been on Hiatus, but i'm back! This post has been in draft for sooo long.
Anyways, just a short post on the updates that happened in the past few weeks.
Firstly, we had the CSSP challenge camp. It was, quite disappointing to me and the other NE leaders in WRS. Firstly, we thought that it would be Fun with a capital F. But it wasn't really fantastic. The environment was not really that friendly to us, because the toilets were disgusting(with plants that looked as though "Grudge" was coming out form the toilet.), we had only 5 minutes to bathe and we had to drink dilute milo for all four days. Hahaha.
And what really changed my mood was that most of the Facilitators told us that they actually came for this camp just so that they could earn points for the NYAA. I mean, as a facilitator, you shouldn't put it as though you were "forced to" isn't it? Form my point of view, i think that leaders should never show their worst side to people, they should try to make it joyous for their team.
But worst still, i heard from Meiyin and Aainaa was that their facilitators actually slept infront of them, while they were actually supposed to do some of the activities.
But anyhow, my team, Jaguar 5 were a bunch of crazy people. Shy at first, but on the last day, our group really bonded together. We even had a 7-up Yam seng. hahah. They're a really great bunch of people from all over Singapore. And i really mean ALL OVER. There were people staying in Changi, Seng kang, Bukit Batok, Yishun and Woodlands. I'll upload the photos some other day.
Anyway, my group is planning a meeting on 11th August. Hopefully all goes well, and majority can go for it!!
But the great thing about the CSSP camp was that we actually learned alot of things, from SMRT derailment to the different types of fire extinguishers, to the methods of bandanging, to stretchers.
Secondly, Volleyball camp. Although i did not attend volleyball camp, i got the updates from those who went. And from what i know, the team really bonded together during the camp, with team bonding games and set games. And our Captain and Vice captain are Cheryl and Qian wen, respectively. Well, girls, what i think, is that we should keep up the good work.
Let's all just put the hatred and misunderstanding out of court can we? I find it of no use if we really don't bond together but just pretend to be. Like i said, win or lose, we are still a team. I've been to camps and i know how tough it is to compliment and encourage more than scold. But if we ourselves want others to cheer for us, we should make the first move in cheering for others. Agree?
It's better to compete with each other, to improve on your skills, then to see who can bitch about each other so much. Compete for skills, not for gossip or bad mouthing. And i mean the whole team. We should trust each and everyone of our teamamtes and not trust someone, and negelct the existence of another. We should prove to people that the Volleyball team is not a bunch of people to bully because we stand up for each other, and out each other before us.
Not much time if left for us and we really need to improve as a team. Let's not blame others for the mistakes, but blame ourselves for not making an effort to help, okay?
But anyway, I'm sure we did great for all trainings. Let's strive to get to the Nationals together!
And lastly, I'm actually attending the NDP bay ambassador thingy, as an usher. Or what most would say, Sai kang warrior. It's pretty tiring( imagining you standing for 12 hours, of course with breaks in between. And having to eat KFC for the saturdays that we're on duty... Pfft.)
I admit that it's tiring but it is really fun. Firstly because the team that i am in, E2, is pretty fun. (Again, photos later.. )
Being able to be in this thing, enable to be exposed to more new faces and to work with them.
By having to usher the public, we meet normal people, famous actors/actresses, artistes and even the Ministers. So i guess this whole thing actually expose to the important people in Singapore, from the ministers, to the Army personnels, to the Police, and finally to the people who actually planned and are running this NDP event.
Unfortunately, apart form all this fun, I have to admit that my studies are slightly neglected. The Examination period is a few weeks from now, and yet, I am still busy with the Sec2 banners, the Sec2 camp ten year series, the meetings for the NDP and the actual days that we are assigned on duty for the ushering. Pretty hectic, but Secondary 3 life is supposed to be one of the best , full of events right?
Anyway, I'll try to update more, with pictures and all.
I shall end of with a video of one of the cheers that the groups from Jaguar did.
Enjoy!
