The beat never dies down

It is appalling to know that till this day, there are people out there who think that Michael Jackson's death is a huge joke.

I don't give a shit if you are not a fan or disliked him for whatever reasons. No one is in any position to criticise, mock and make a bloody joke out of his death. Come on, you could at least
try to be humane and respect another person's death.

Even though I grew up listening to Michael Jackson, I am not able to recall every single song that he made. However, there are a few of my favourites.

These are the videos that I love since I was as young as 6. Despite not understanding the meaning to most of his songs back then, it was his moves that made me melt. I had a deeper admiration for him as I grew older. No one can top MJ's music. Not his moves, not his lyrics and never his strength and perseverance of all the hardship he had been through.

You Are Not Alone

Dirty Diana

Don't Stop Till You Get Enough

Man In The Mirror

Ben

Why - Michael Jackson and 3T (His nephews). Why do they look so much like him? Amazing genes... So pretty looking! Anyways....here's the video:

And on to my favourite videos back then. I was so crazy over these videos back then that I would come home from school, and play the tapes (that my family had recorded just so that I could see the music videos) over and over again. I think I even had a mini crush on him after seeing 'Smooth Criminal', which was my absolute favourite then. How I always wished I could be one of those three kids in the music video.

Did you realize that his music videos and songs were not the usual type of music? What I mean is that his songs and videos had stories behind them. And that is what makes him a legend.

Earth Song

Beat It

Billie Jean

Heal The World (* Bimbo moment* I think this has the most beautiful lyrics ever, seriously.)

Ghost

They don't really care about us

And of course, the favourite one when I was just 6 years old: Smooth Criminal

Till then.

Video!

I once dedicated an entire post to videos found on Youtube a long time ago. I posted videos such as the Tamil thriller, the colourful Hokkien Songs, the two talented guys, and also, the two hilarious girls.

Now, over the years, we've seen tonnes of videos of people performing covers of great artistes. And we've seen many hilarious parodies of certain artistes as well. In fact, I've even seen subliminal messages in some videos such as Led Zeppelin's Stairway to Heaven (below).

Even songs by Rihanna were not left untouched. The wonders of Youtube.

We've seen and heard all of this already. So what's new?

The Hokkien Version of Rihanna's hit song, "Umbrella"!

Till then!

Yes, it's a new layout for my blog. Fresher, cleaner look. And of course, with a huge writing space for my posts.

There's a song stuck in my head

Have you ever been in a situation where you couldn't stop humming/whistling to this song stuck in your head? Fortunately, I do know the title of the song, and so all I had to do was to get it. But boy, was it stuck in my head forever!

You see, after watching the show Juno (Click Here!), I found myself humming/whistling to the song that was played at the end of the movie.

Why the song got stuck to my head, is because of it's simple catchy tune. Well, if you don't believe me, hear it for yourself.

This is the one that was played at the end of the movie:

And I suppose the tune is pretty much stuck to your head to eh?

Hahah!

Du Dududu Dududu DuduDudu

Deep Inside Me, I know..

Do you dream , that the world will know your name?
So tell me your name.
(Tell me your name.)
Do you care, about all the little things or anything at all?
(Anything at all.)
I wanna feel, all the chemicals inside I wanna feel.
(I wanna feel.)
I wanna sunburn, just to know that I'm alive...
To know I'm alive.
(To know I'm alive.)

Don't tell me if I'm dying, cause I don't wanna know.
If I can't see the sun, maybe I should go.
Don't wake me cause I'm dreaming, of angels on the moon.
Where everyone you know, never leaves too soon.

Do you believe, in the day that you were born?
Tell me do you believe.
(Do you believe.)
Do you know, that every day's the first of the rest of your life.

Don't tell me if I'm dying, cause I don't wanna know.
If I can't see the sun, maybe I should go.
Don't wake me cause I'm dreaming, of angels on the moon.
Where everyone you know, never leaves too soon.

This is to one last day in the shadows.
And to know a brother's love.
This is to New York City angels.
And the rivers of our blood.
This is to all of us, to all of us.

So don't tell me if I'm dying, cause I don't wanna know.
If I can't see the sun, maybe I should go.
Don't wake me cause I'm dreaming, of angels on the moon.
Where everyone you know, never leaves too soon.

Yeah, you can tell me all your thoughts, about the stars that fill polluted skies.
And show me where you run to, when there's no one left to take your side.
But don't tell me where the road ends, cause I just don't wanna know, No I don't wanna know.

Don't tell me if I'm dying.
Don't tell me if I'm dying.

Those are the most awesome lyrics I've seen, so far. I really love this song, "Angels On The Moon" by Thriving Ivory. But I'm still pretty surprised as to how different the lead singer that I imagined in my head, to the real lead singer.

Close your eyes when you listen to him, then open it after awhile. You'll be amazed. Hahah.

Anyway, I think I'm becoming a stalker soon. And I blame it pretty much, on the entertainment industry.

See, whenever we watch Television and we see a certain show that we really like, we'll wait for it day in day out, to be premiered and shown on Television right? That was what happened when I waited for "No Reservations" to be premiered.

Then there are the shows that have episodes, like CSI. What's worse is that on AXN, they show different series together. CSI Miami, CSI Las Vegas, CSI New York, CSI crime scene investiagtions, and this would have me seated without moving an inch for 4 whole hours. I can watch it every single day, the same as I do for Ellen Degeneres.

And what's even worst than that, would be shows with marathons, like Survivor. Boy oh boy, would I be glued to the screen the entire day!

See, that's what makes us (I'm sure you watch tv too!) in fine bred stalkers. We can sit afar from the scene, without moving an inch, and watch all the action go by. We'll find all the information of her(let's put shows as a her, makes it more interesting. hahah) from wikipedia, yourtube, or any website just to be updated. We'll watch her so closely that a slight move would intrigue us.

We follow her daily schedule and sit and wait till she appears again. That makes us happy, oh so very happy. She may not have a clue as to who we are, but we sure do know who she is! Oh hell yes we do!

But for all we know, we can only watch from afar, for we are nothing to her. See, like stalker right!?!?

Anyway, below's my photo. Apparently, cam-whoring feels so... WRONG. Hahah. I need to detoxify my clean soul now.

Photobucket

And mind you, that thing below my lip isn't bird shit, white pulsating pimple, or anything you could think of. It's my bling bling! Hahah. It simple words, it's my lip piercing!

And no, my hair isn't long, it's longer than before. And yes, I do look constipated because I hate taking photographs. And yes, my hair is coloured. What colour exactly? I don't know. I had to work from backwards, from bleach to now, and trust me, you don't wanna' know how many times I redyed it. And no, my hair isn't permed. It's natural.

Lordi

I think I like Lordi more now. I realized that Lordi has the more "monster" appeal than Slipknot. And I find their songs more catchy and less "complicated shouting" as my mum puts it.

Click to read more about Slipknot

Click to read more about Lordi

Lordi is a heavy metal band from Finland. The concept for Lordi was devised in 1992, however, the band was not formed until 1996 by Tomi Putaansuu (known as 'Mr. Lordi')[1] of Helsinki, Finland. Members of Lordi are noted for their elaborate monster-like costumes seen during live shows and in music videos. Lordi are also known as "The Finnish Monsters" and "The Monsters of Finland."[citation needed]

Lordi won the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest with a record 292 points, giving Finland its first ever victory. Lordi featured on the 2006 MTV Europe Music Awards in Copenhagen when Mr. Lordi presented the award for rock, and they were also the closing act playing their single Hard Rock Hallelujah. They also performed on Britain's Making Your Mind Up for the Eurovision Song Contest. Lordi performed on the main stage at OzzfestType O Negative and Twin Method until Halloween night. 2007 and later that year toured with

My favourite Music Video by Lordi.

Love, totally love that music video.

And one from Slipknot.

Loved the video, but not my favourite song. And nope, my favourite song isn't Wait And Bleed anymore. It's Before I Forget.

Dance!

Putting all those negativity aside, it's time to share videos! I must say, that the dance "Sexy Love" done by Ivan and Allison in "So You Think You Can Dance" is ranked number one in my heart. I really like it alot, and I think that this pretty much show that Hip Hop isn't always about 'Gansta' moves.

And then I did more Youtube-ing on "So You Think You Can Dance" and found another dance which I really liked alot. This is done by Chelsea and Mark, using the song "Bleeding Love".

By this time, I was like a mad person searching Youtube. And I found other dance videos which are really impressive.

Enjoy!

Who ever said Robot Dance was "out"? Uniqlo brings it back with style.

Another robot dance, this time done by a Japanese named Takahiro. His moves are like water, so smooth. And check his flexibility!

Then there was Star Search. Okay some of you may already know that Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera were from Star Search. But did you know that Justin timberlake, Wade Robson and David Archuleta were from it too?

And who would have thought that the Justin Timberlake now, was all country then?

And it seems like Wade Robson had his talent since he was a kid! His sleek moves are exactly the same as the Legendary Micheal Jackson. Even the ponytail seems the same!

And then there is the very adorable David Archuleta. He seems much more confident than the shy one we see on American Idol.

And I love how Sophie Oda sounds. Her voice has the "Disneyland", "Fairytale" kind of voice, if you know what I mean.

And then there are the hilarious ones. I know it's kind of bad to be laughing at a tone deaf person, but I can't help it!

End.

More videos

This video is shows a guy ("making fun" of the songs)dancing to different songs of different genres and time of release. What's so interesting about this video is that, when you see him dance, you'll start thinking to yourself "omg, that is actually true!".

This is a really cool video done by someone, making fun of Paris Hilton by rephrasing her lyrics in her OWN song "stars are blind" or something like that. Oh yah, the girl in the video really looks like her, but the only fact is that she's much more tanned than Paris Hilton. But she looks like Nichole Richie too. Hahah

And the last one.

Ever had this dreadful feeling that your mom is going to nag at you? Or that you do have moms who nag at you constantly that you could practically remember everything she said?

Why not go impress your mom? Learn this song by heart and recite it to her, telling her that she has such sweet words that it keep ringing in your head. She'll definitely be impressed, and MAY stop nagging at you.

Videos, and more videos

okay, i've been watching loads of youtube videos lately, and I've come upon uploading those hilarious ones in my blog!
I know i seriously shouldn't do that because some twits might go" warhxx, thiishx viideox iishx copiieriightx worx! Noeex oriigiienaeliitiiex".
Well, I'm just trying to share the laughter, people.

HOKKIEN SONG #1

HOKKIEN SONG #2

Micheal Jackson "Thriller", indian version? Note: Check out the horrible make up.

Hokkien James Bond

Hokkien Lord of the Rings

Two chinese boys imitating some pepsi song.

Again the two chinese boys imitating jessica simpson's "public Affair".

These two boys are so great, that Pepsi even hired them to make a fool out of their advertisement, in order to advertise their commercial. Cool! And they're rich just by making fun and mimicking the songs that they show, on youtube!

Now, instead of the two chinese boys, I've stumbled upon two Korean girls! They're pretty funny too, and they're recognized by youtube too, just like the two boys (above).
But, instead of singing some songs that we know, these two girls sing in their own language, but what cracks me up is that they simple accompany the horrible singing with funny actions! Check it out yourselves..

Number 1

Number 2

Number 3

That's it for now. I hope that tickled your funny bone. In the next post, I'll(maybe) be uploading eddy murphy's "delirious'' videos.
