Random Updates

Edited.

I finally managed to find some motivation to blog. True enough, as what Syuh said, many of my posts have been kept in drafts for a very long time, so much that it keeps piling up and up, without me completing any of it. But enough is enough, as there are many things to share!

Random Update.

Needless to say, it's the term break for me now. However, it's pretty unfair that the other polytechnics are having theirs at a different date to my polytechnic (yes, that means I can't get to catch up with some of my secondary school friends, and that includes you, Jeanice Mucuc).

And term break isn't really a break to me, as I still have three projects on my shoulders. You know, I actually hate projects now, for the fact that it is in groups. Call me selfish or self-centered but I actually feel that I work best on my own. This of course, has nothing to do with 'cramping me style'. I just don't like the feeling of having to wait for others, or to even have others wait for me. And the greatest setback is that everyone thinks or rather, have different perceptions of the project. This however, can be a benefit at the same time, as we can help cover each others butt.

Wait, why am I arguing with myself over such a topic? Written communication must have done something to me, with the argumentative essays and all.

Moving on...

These couple of weeks has left great and interesting impressions of some of my class mates. In fact, I got to scare them with my home made horror experiences, and even managed to put them in tough and uncomfortable situations (sorry about those times!) about unanswerable questions about religion, the spiritual world, their beliefs and also existence.

I was just being curious. True enough, there are many questions where both religion and science cannot solve. So who will give me the answer?

My mum thinks I'll die a horrible death one day, while trying to unravel all these secrets. But I'll most probably go mad before dying from a horrible death. Who knows?

The later part of this post has been deleted. It is not because I 'chickened out' or fear that a massive amount of parangs will be thrown at me. In fact, it has nothing to do with me fearing for what I wrote, as I will still stand by whatever I wrote earlier.

The reason as to why I removed the 'tale' is simple. I made a mistake. By penning my frustrations, anger and opinions down here not only makes it unfair for the 'victim', but it also causes loads of assumptions and its many other transformations to spread around.

For those who have seen it, good for you. For those who haven't, that's too bad. Whatever that is written in this blog is mere 'one ear in, and out the other' and I prefer no posts to be further discussed or spread around.

The vending of frustrations of that particular person, was indeed a major no-no and I sincerely apologize if she or anyone else takes insult to my words.
I admit that I do have inappropriate terms when it comes to blogging. And the post may have sounded bitchy and idiotic.

I know that everyone deserves to have their version of the story told and so, I have decided to remove the 'tale' so as to prevent people from making guesses about who is involved and whatsoever. Besides, everyone needs to reflect on their own actions and from that, I found that I was writing away at my own free will without considering the feelings of those who were involved. Very selfish indeed.

However, as mentioned earlier, I still do stand by every word mentioned in the earlier version of this post. Mean, bitchy, whatever you want to call it. So long as I know that it's from my heart. Ignorant, but truthful. And they say, the truth always hurt.

PS: Whoever wishes to start a war/battle over what I wrote, I wish to gladly invite you to bring it on.

One more time now...

Random Updates

Look at how time flies.

It is already the 6th week for most of us and fortunately for me, I am still able to have a firm grip on my assignments without losing touch fun and the datelines of course!

I am pretty aware at how dead this blog is, needless to say, who reads it. But nevertheless, I would still be updating. And it's a warning to you guys, because the next few posts might be too wordy to handle.

Anyways, the past two weeks has been a change for me. Not only have a made new friends (from my class. Yes, that is how pathetic I am.), but I have been practically spending my 'after-school' time with them, be it for Lunch, Dinner or to simply hang out to chill.

And I have indeed had a blast with them. It's not that I have totally forgotten the old pals' that I used to hang out with (both in Poly and in Sec Sch). In fact, I've been keeping in touch with them(you guys know who you are!) because I do cherish the friendship lah (mushy moment).

But having to hang out with this bunch of friends is like a total refreshment. What do I mean by that? Well, I do enjoy every second with this group but what came as a shocker to me was how direct they were when I asked them about their first impression of me (no offence taken)!

Now I understand how people judge me when they see me from a distant away. However, it was hilarious when most of them actually told me of the confusion they had when I appeared to be so much more friendlier that they pictured me to be (because of my dyed hair, piercing and so on...)!

I guess as much as we'd all like others to not judge us by our 'covers', someway, somehow, we will be judged like that. It is either we accept and move on, or we stay put and whine about it.

As for me, I'm not the least bit offended. In fact, I like the idea of making people wonder what the hell is up with me. Like I said, it's the things that bewilder people, that make you stand out. Hahah!

Other than that, the past two weeks has been awesome. Got to know my classmates better, got to hate certain things here and there even more, and most importantly, I got to meet the Mucus Clan! Dark Berry Mocha Frap was gooooooood.

And Jeanice, you better give me back my wood bracelet or I'll bloody Mary you.

You know what would be awesome? Owning a 'Daiso' shop.

If you've never been there, you should. Because the place is simply heavenly. You can buy stuffs, ranging from aesthetic products to kitchen ware, from stationery sets(the pens there are a steal!) to electronic items, to decorative boxes (very lovely designs, great for gifts!) to pouches and bags (I bought a laptop bag, and another smaller one for my phone!), from socks to shawls (I bought some toe socks! I miss wearing them to school!), from hats to slippers, from crackers to chocolates(the crackers are really nice, I like the spicy ones. The chocolates are just as lovely. And I tried those instant puddings and muffins and they were
not bad.), from tea to bottled drinks. All from this simple Japanese shop!

And the best part? Every freakin' item is $2!

(Whaaaaat.. I told you I loved Daiso.)

I can spend at least 2 hours in there, and I have never been bored from walking around in 'Daiso'.

So just yesterday, I visited the one at Vivocity by myself (no, this is not a sign of sympathetic pleas). And after spending 2 and a 1/2 hours in there, I came out with a bag full of stuffs. And of all the items that I managed to buy, I left the shop grinning from ear to ear, because I bought myself a set of 370 pieces (with 16 different colours!) Origami papers!

I was really happy, so happy that when I got home, I took all of them out, arranged them accordingly (they were previously arranged in sets of four colours. Like white, yellow, pink, orange. Then another set of white, yellow, pink, orange. Wait, why am I even explaining this?!) and took a picture of them!

Upon seeing this, I know most of you would start counting and would jump at the moment to call me stupid because there are actually 18 colours and not 16. But the packet said 16 what.. Besides, the gold and silver only had a piece each (Why do they always give only a piece of gold and silver in every packet?).

(The gold one is above the silver, which is above the black. The reflection of it makes it look like yellow.)

And so, this is my short update. Pretty random, I know.

Oh, and while walking around Vivocity, I found this tree, and I took a picture of it. I used colured sketch in this case to edit it. I like how the sketch makes every detail of each flower stand out.

The Tree Of Life

When adding a colour isn't enough.

And these are the A-1 'balloons' that I was talking about a while ago.

I need to find time to blow them before school starts, if not they'll try up. Speaking of these 'toys' that we used to play, I miss buying boxes and boxes of sparklers.

4th of July Pictures, Images and Photos

I remember the times when my brother and I would burn the walls along the corridors, with our names. Apparently we thought it was cool to leave our 'trademark'. Then there were the times where we broke off the bits of the substance, made a trail of it from out doorstep to some other place, ending it off with a huge amount of the mashed up bits scooped together. Then we'd take some dried leaves from my mum's potter plants, use our magnifying glass to shine the Sunlight on it. The moment the leaves get lighted, we'd throw them at the trail we made. Then we'd hide for cover just in case our neighbours were around. Seeing the final 'explosion' at the end of the trail made us so happy that nothing else could bring out mood down. But soon after, we'd get scolded for leaving burnt trails along our corridor.

But it was all worth it.

And what to end this post of with another item that made my day. Jujubes.

It's not found at Daiso unfortunately. They used to have it at 7-11 but now, they can only be found at those Chinese Medicine Stores. Just in case you're wondering what these are, they're actually candy! It's chewy candy in a form of a distorted teddy bear, with sugar sprinkled all over. And it's menthol flavoured, which means it's cool and refreshing! Hahah, I have no idea why I'm advertising it, but it is definitely a lovely sweet, one of my favourite.

And no, I'm not a smoker. Just because there's menthol in it, doesn't mean I smoke. Meet me some time, then I'll give you some.

I think I wanna start my own 'origami' videos soon. I might, if time is on my side!
