It's been ages since I last watched a Catherine Tate video. I used to blog about her here

Born Catherine Ford in Bloomsbury, London in 1968, she was brought up in the distinctive and iconic Brunswick Centre. Catherine attended a local Catholic primary school and a south London convent secondary school before going on to train at the Central School of Speech and Drama.

She began her television career with roles in serial dramas such as Casualty and The Bill and appeared in comedy series such as The Harry Hill Show, Big Train, Wild West and That Peter Kay Thing before being given her own show which she co-wrote with Derren Litten.

The Catherine Tate Show is an award-winning television sketch comedy show which airs on BBC Two. Comedienne Catherine Tate writes and appears in all of the show's sketches, which feature a wide range of characters.

The first series of the show, which consisted of six episodes, aired from February to March 2004. A DVD of this series was released in August 2005.

A second series aired from July to August 2005, and a 40-minute Christmas special was aired on December 20, 2005

It was announced on 4th July that Catherine would play the part of Doctors Whos trusty sidekick for the forthcoming new series.

After last year’s successful Christmas episode which pulled in 9.4 million viewers, Catherine Tate was asked at a press screening if she would like to become the Dr’s new companion, in which she replied "I would love to, but no one has asked."

Anyway, I'd like to repost it again, because I simply can't get enough of her!! I love her alot!

Comic Relief Teacher

And my all time favourite, Translator!

More can be found in Youtube. Do inform me of videos that you find interesting too!

Am I bovvered? Anyway, I screwed up Mother Oral today. The teachers totally refused to help translate it in English for me, and so, I had to 'anyhow hantam' my way through. The passage was something about an Elephant, while the conversation was about government banning mama shops from placing things outside on the walkway. I was so ignorant to bother asking, that I though mama shop was 'street hawker' in chinese. And so, I totally went out of point. Hopefully, the examiners pity me, I hope!

Singapore Blog Awards - Youth category

A while back, I signed up for a "competition" in this Site
. As time went by, I totally forgot about it and was quite shocked when I received a call from one of their staff, informing me that I was one of the top 10 finalists for the Youth category. I wasn't that sure, as the "competition" had slipped passed my mind. But as soon as I hung up the phone, I immediately went to check out their site.

Boy, was I happy. I have never won any "competition" from blogging, well it isn't really winning, but achieving the top 10 is already a great accomplishment to me!

All I need right now, is for you readers to vote for me!

All you have to do, is go to this Site
and hover over a picture of a girl in an orangey background. If it reads http://www.sitandwhine.blogspot.com, Click on it and vote for me! (Just one more great excuse to tell your parents that you need to use the computer! Lol)

Of course, no one leaves empty handed. Because I found out that voters can actually stand to win prizes by actually voting! There is a daily quota of one vote per category per day, which means that you can vote daily, to increase your chances!

now, you might be wondering, what do I win if I vote? Well, you actually stand a chance to win travel packages to Bangkok, Vietnam and a luxurious resort accommodation package in Phuket. Isn't that good? Who doesn't need a break from all this stress in Life isn't it? What's more you don't have to spend much effort, but to just vote for your favourite blogger per category everyday!

I'm not holding a knife and forcing you to vote for me. No, you actually can vote for others, because I feel that one should gain votes only if your readers like your blog, and think that you stand a chance to win.

So I guess, all i can say is, Vote for me, if you think I deserve it! (voting till 31st July)

By the way, I need ideas because I have to submit photos of my hand, doing anything i think, is symbolic to blogging. The dateline is 4th July. I'm running out of ideas, and I need help! Please? Leave a comment if you do have any idea. Your ideas will be much appreciated!!

Update on my weekend

This weekend has been spent with a rather "slacking" attitude. I have been up till 4 plus in the morning, chatting with Shera on Msn.

Some of you might go "cheh, 4 plus only, i play maple/habbo/dota or whatever games longer lah, this one small fry."

Well, I can't say much to that, but anyway, this online chat actually is rather ridiculous. Because it is nothing but making up stories of people and reading people's friendster profiles.

And regarding the story-making, we can sound so far-fetched, like creating a story that "someone" got hit by his best friend because he have him the rock (lift eyebrow) look.

Hahah.

I'm kind of worried for my O'levels Mother tongue oral tomorrow. I'm not like some who goes on and on about how bad he/she is, that he/she will fail and all, but in the end, he/she gets an A1 and still thinks it's not good enough.

No. I'm not like that. I'm really bad at it, that I even considered dropping it once. See, my family speaks mainly English, if not, it'll be a mixed up language of Malay, Hokkien, Peranakan and English. So, the Chinese language gets neglected and thus, i have difficulty succeeding in it.

I failed on my recent mother tongue oral because I had no idea what the teacher was talking about. I asked her to translate the question in English and unfortunately, she wasn't good in doing it. So the oral ended in me giggling at myself for the humiliating act of 'anyhow out Chinese words together' and her giggling at me, because my Chinese sentences made no sense to her at all. Oh yah, and I read the word, 幽默 which is supposed to be 'you mo', as "chou mo", in the passage. Stupid or what. So how to pass?

Hahah.

Lastly, To end off,I'd like to wish ALL WHO ARE TAKING THE O' AND N' LEVEL ORAL(BOTH ENGLISH AND CHINESE), GOOD LUCK!

Must wish me too okay, because I'll need loads of it to pass!! hahah.

The next terrorizing blogger?

If you've been sticking to Nuffnang's innit posts lately, you would have noticed something going on in there. Apparently a fellowblogger
posted "Top 10 dub things ppl do to their blog", which has undoubtedly sparked comments flying all over.

Many have felt that she was unfair in her judgment. There was even a post that was replied to her, from another blogger
who disagreed to the previous blogger's opinions.

However, the first blogger realized that things were not going well and so, she created a video, clarifying her opinions on the post. (note: turn volume to maximum as it is really soft)

I do have some agreements with both sides of the party, but what ruined it, was that the first blogger actually did the video, which entirely contradicts what she has in her post. Besdies, why so garang? Some people prefer to do things their way for their own "style", and so i guessed they can be blame isn't it? If everyone were to have the same opinions, then the world, or rather blogosphere, would have clones instead of originality.

I don't know. But what do you think?

School's in, Life's out

It's actually a long time since I last blogged about my daily life. I'm sure many wouldn't want to bother about it, and so, here's a quick one.

School started, and term 3 is going to be a task to prove to ourselves and others that we are capable of overcoming the challenge, which is of course, the big O's.

Everyone around me seems more engaged in their work, and I am too, driven to compete with them. Hopefully, my class can work together in supporting each other to strive hard.

English class has been the greatest class to attend, as always. My teacher actually told us that brushing our teeth with salt and rough coffee powder, could actually clean and whiten your teeth. I'm curious if it'll work, and I'll definitely try it out during the weekends. But the funny thing was, she said that after telling us this, she want us to NOT try it at home, and not tell our parents that it's taught by her. hahah.

Anyway, I've been having Dreams and deja vu lately, and some seems pretty unpleasant. But one of the dream left me drooling on bed. It's none other than GUITAR HERO 3!!! Watch the video below.

Nice right? It looks so fun! I want one!!

Anyway, I youtube-ed further and found some incredible songs to play on Guitar Hero 3. It's really unbelievable that there's actually a song like that to play!

Watch:

The last one was total madness!

Speaking of guitars, I found a video of a guy playing superbly well. I'm not sure what song it was, and if you do, tag me!

And lastly before I leave, I'd like to show you guys a video. Hopefully I can try it out too!

enjoy!
