Right Hand Vs. Left Hand
The right hand is often thought of as the "clean" hand. People often use the right hand to eat, receive as well as to offer things. The right hand was used more than the Left hand because the Right Hand symbolized respect and cleanliness, while the Left Hand symbolized "dirtiness" like cleaning after yourself.
But don't you find it ironic that the Right hand is used more often in doing the bad things that the Right things?
People were killed, Wars were started, viruses passed...
And yet it's still the "Clean" hand.
I wished I were a Lefty, then I can really say that my Left hand is an evil hand.
Monday Blues
I'm still an adolescent, so I need time to sort things out. And no, it's not a BGR problem lah.
Anyway, I was watching 'Mr.Bean The Animated Series' when it suddenly struck me of an email I received a few days back.
It was mentioned that the very funny Mr. Bean
A VERY HOT DAUGHTER!
Don't look down at the funny looking face okay, Rowan Atkinson is actually a very highly educated person!
(Taken from wikipedia.org)
Rowan Sebastian Atkinson was born in Consett, County Durham in 1955.[4] His parents were Eric Atkinson, a farmer and company director, and his wife Ella May (née Bambridge), who married on 29 June 1945.[4] He has two elder brothers, Rodney Atkinson, a eurosceptic economist who narrowly lost the United Kingdom Independence Party leadership election in 2000, and Rupert Atkinson.[5][6]
Atkinson was raised Anglican.[7] He was educated at Durham Choristers School, followed by St Bees School, and studied electrical engineering at Newcastle University.[8] He continued with an MSc at The Queen's College, Oxford, first achieving notice at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 1976.[8] At Oxford, he also acted and performed early sketches for the Oxford University Dramatic Society (OUDS), the Oxford Revue and the Experimental Theatre Club (ETC), meeting writer Richard Curtis[8] and composer Howard Goodall, with whom he would continue to collaborate during his career.
Anyway, here's a picture of his daughter, Gemma Atkinson, who's a lingerie model!
Chio right!
I know it sounds odd coming from a girl, but I bet every girl out there would die to have a hot bod like her.
Who'd expect a goofy looking guy to have her as a daughter?

Dawn Yang, Xiaxue, Shi Ming Yi = Singapore!
This was where Xiaxue made clear statements of the displeasure of being constantly compared to Dawn Yang. She also gave her impression of Dawn and mentioned that she did not really like her.
This of course, caused a stir in the blogosphere, where visitors moved back and forth from Xiaxue's blog, to Dawn Yang's blog.
Soon after, the very displeased Dawn Yang, filed a lawsuit against Xiaxue.
Click
The commotion was such a hoo-haa that it appeared not only in straits times, but in the local chinese news papers as well.
Despite the commotion, Xiaxue continued her jovial blogging, and even mentioned in the Straits time that she was not going to apologize.
Obviously, Xiaxue had more supporters, and so many revealed Dawn's secret of going under the knife.
Soon, sites were found, containing the truth about Dawn Yang.
It was [xanga.com/Dawn_wayang] back then. But it got closed down, or rather, moved to here
Another site was also getting popular amongst bloggers, as if claimed and proved that Dawn Yang was involved in Plagiarism.
Click
Xiaxue then posted on her general thoughts of plagiarism, mentioning that it was "the lowest a blogger can hit".
This has not only caused a stir in the blogosphere, but to the public as well. Everyone's keeping an eye in people's blogs now.
Apart from the blogosphere, there is another ongoing commotion amongst the public to whether or not trust and continue donating to Ren Ci Hospital.

So much for Singapore New Paper criticizing Xiao Yun from China.
Sick of it? Wait, there's more!
Remember a few months back, five Singapore dragon boat rowers died after drowning when their boat capsized?
Here
I pity the families as I feel that the Singapore team should have enforced the importance of the life jackets. Nothing (such as rowing difficulty) should be as important than a life.
And a few weeks/months later, SAF suspends physical training for 3 days due to the death of 2 recruits.

Even Hossan Leong, Dick Lee and Kumar are "making fun" of Singapore
Too embarrassed to represent Singapore? Never mind, just send Steven Lim and Achen loh!
What a great way to celebrate National Day!!
I live in Singapura. Though it's not perfect living, but at least it's interesting!

Radio Version
Remix Chipmunks Version
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I like the Chipmunks version the most. I don't think I need to explain the song, because itself definitely explained everything. It's a lovely song. And while listening to it over and over again last night, I noticed it has a little similarity(in terms on lyrics) to WestLife's "Written in the Stars", which is another lovely song.
Lyrics (taken from sing365.com) :
Stay with me
don't fall asleep too soon
the angels can wait
for a moment
come real close
forget the world outside
tonight we're alone
it's finally you and i
oooohhh...
it wasn't meant to feel like this
oooohhh...
not without you
cause when i look at my life
how the pieces fall into place
it just wouldn't rhyme
without you
when i see how my path
seems to end up before your face
the state of my heart
the place where we are
is written in the stars
don't be afraid
I'll be right by your side
through the laughter and pain
together we're bound to fly
oooohhh...
i wasn't meant to love like this
not without you
cause when i look at my life
how the pieces fall into place
it just wouldn't rhyme
without you
when i see how my path
seems to end up before your face
the state of my heart
the place where we are
is written in the stars
made a few mistakes, yeah
like sometimes we do
been through lot of heartache
but i made it back to you
cause when i look at my life (yeah)
how the pieces fall into place (into place)
it just wouldn't rhyme
without you (without you)
when i see how my path
seems to end up before your face
the state of my heart
the place where we are
is written in the stars
look at my life
how the pieces fall into place
it just wouldn't rhyme
without you
when i see how my path
seems to end up before your face
the state of my heart
the place where we are
was written in the stars
the state of my heart
the place where we are
was written in the stars
I guess it's ironic that we live Life, waiting for death to come knocking on our door. I'm sure that there are people out there who claim that they're not afraid to die. But if you are not afraid to die, then why be so careful in the things you do? Everyone's afraid to die, that is we take precautions in doing things.
Death has instilled FEAR in us all.

School support us, Youth Bloggers?
Where I talked about the incident that "Sidelinedstudent" had with his school, taken from Omy.sg
The reporter was really nice and jovial, and she asked question pertaining to the incident, like how I felt about sidelinedstudent not being supported by his school, how I felt about my school, why my school did not support youth bloggers, and basically every curious question any one would have asked to dig out more information.
The reporter was shocked when I told her that teachers were on Facebook and Friendsters, and would accept our friend requests, without being anonymous.
I told her many reasons to why my school did not support blogging, and I even recalled incidents where teachers approached me about my posts. I also revealed about how some students were asked to delete their blogs, because it contained mentionings of the school.
I wouldn't be surprised if this hoo-haa about schools supporting bloggers, comes out in the newspaper. And in a way, I guess it's good, such that schools who are reading this, would be aware of how we students feel, and how we actually regard them as important parts of our lives, that is why we inform them of our happenings.
Every single student are ambassadors of the school, and we should have responsibility to blog, be it about the school or any other things. But I feel that if a student blogs about a "bad thing" (let's say, a teacher made a rude remark about him because he was always late for school. Calling him a rebellion and slacker, without finding the actual truth behing things) that happened in school, I don't think it should be counted as irresponsible because the student is merely expressing how injustice was shown by the school, to him.
Even if my school were to approach me and ask me to stop blogging, and lecture me about the importance of studying, being that it is the O'level year, I would not stop blogging. Because as I had told the reporter, blogging is not only a hobby but a talent and passion. Not everyone can blog interestingly, and I do believe that blogging can bring people far.
Although there are plenty of plus-points of the interview, such as the school being more aware of how we feel of blogging, and that they should lighten up, I personally feel that the schools would keep a closer eye on those who are bloggers.
And though I have said alot about my school, I somehow fear that they would turn nasty towards me. It's my O'level year and I don't want anything bad to happen that might debar me from taking the National Exams.
But if the school debars me, then wouldn't there be an issue where "School bans student from exam because of blogging"? hahha, I love the press.
