Parents are the most sacred people in our lives. They gave us Life, bringing us into this mystical world of wonders. They gave us love, care and concern when we needed them most. They sheltered us and showered us with clothes and a pampered life with money. They were the first to fit us into clothes, guide us in our first steps in Life, and definitely the first to change our diapers.
We have disappointed them in many ways.
As babies:
From the embarrassment of screaming and crying in the buses and MRTs, to the shitting and puking at the most inconvenient times. From the nights we made them stay awake just because we needed milk or a change in diapers, to the times where we made them worry that they might lose us in shopping malls.
As adolescence:
From the times we threw tantrums at them, to the time where we demanded money from them to buy stuff that friends thought were "cool". From the rebellious act of defiance, to the stupid stuff we did with our friends just because it looked "cool". From the hurtful words we said about them, to the kind words we never said about them.
Yet all this while, despite our humiliating behaviour, they chose to stick by us, never giving up on us. True, sometimes they may say harsh words to us, but it's basically because we did something stupid. You may roll your eyes and stuff, but parents do do things for our own good. Even if they did some bad things, people do make mistakes isn't it? What about all the times you did stupid things to them?
And so I find it really disheartening to see youths nowadays still being really rude to their parents.
I have seen incidents where youths actually yell at their parents in the MRT, for no apparent reasons. Some wal real fast or real slow, leaving their parents infront or behind of them. Some talk really rudely to their parents, ending conversations in brief "yes" and "no". Some idiots even chose to ignore their parents.
I even have friends who are really afraid to be seen when they are with their families, or parents. It's funny seeing them hide, or try some way or another to avoid your gaze. Some even pretend to not see you at all.
I'm really curious, what's so embarresing about going out with parents or your family? I love going out with mine. I love how people stare with questions in their head, wondering how come my family has people of different skin colour and looks. I love spending time with my family because we not only get along by the food we like, but we're so lame, that it's impossible not to click. Furthermore, our parents are always updated on our daily lives, and so we could simply seat down with them, and talk about our Life.
If youths are treating their parents so badly because of how their parents dress, then I'd say that's bullshit. You don't expect your mum to go around wearing horrible skimpy looking hot pants, with bare backs tees, bling bling flip flops and tote backs right? I mean I'm not saying parents aren't allowed to wear all these, but it's basically only right for them to wear clothes of their age, for decency sake. Besides, clothes worn by youths nowadays are getting lesser and lesser, thinner and thinner, I wouldn't be surprised if a new trend comes out for youths to start wearing bra and panties, walking around Orchard Road.
If you're so smart to judge your parents based on their clothes, then why not spend your money to buy clothes you think is nice for them? Their age, but with the killer youth deisgns. Not a bad idea isn't it?
Stop hating your parents and start loving them, because they loved you when no one else did.

More scandals?
It all started with a kiss..

Between Micheal Jackson and his wife(then) Lisa Marie Presley at the VMAs in 1994, which unfortunately wasn't towards their advantage, as their marriage ended after 5 years of being together.
BUT..
Seeing that the paparazzi got such a good shot at it, and that it was the talk of the town, for a LONG time, Madonna became competitive. She not only locked lips with Britney Spears, but Christina Aguilera as well!
I bet while kissing them, she'd be thinking: "Hah! One more than Micheal Jackson!"

Obviously Justin Timberlake (Britney's Ex) was happy at all. But who cares?
All three of the girls had gotten more fame than anyone else in the World!!
More and more artistes were in need for fame and many tried various ways to steal the attention back, and have the paparazzi leech onto their skin. Almost everyone tried, and failed. All, except Paris Hilton.
Who managed to "leak" her sex scandal all over the web. Not only was she pleased, but she seemed excited at the fact that the paparazzi were producing a cacophony of clicks, shouts, screams, microphones; everyone was after Paris Hilton.
Singapore, being very competitive, and having a "everything must have" attitude, had been competing with America for a long time. It started with American Idol. Singapore, being competitive and cosmopolitan, started not only Singapore Idol, but Campus Superstar, Project Superstar, Superband, Vasantham Star, and Anugerah.
Thus, it was not surprising to see Singapore with one of it's very own sex scandal "leak" onto the net. And who else but to send "Tammy" to do it.
This definitely caused a stir in the World wide net, but it was not going to end there.
Because Hong Kong decided to be part of this, and sent Edison Chen to "do his magic".
He "leaked" not one, but MANY videos of his scandals with many of his past girlfriends.
Thus, winning the title of getting most fame on him.
It was quite for a couple of months. But soon after, Vanessa Anne Hudgens could not take the silent awkwardness anymore, and so "leaked" her nude photos that were only meant for her boyfriend, Zac Efron.
Britney was speechless and freaked out that no attention was at here, and so, she decided to shave her head bald.
China decided to take action and sent "Xiao Yun" to do her thing.
This of course, involved donations and lots of skin. Oh, and hairy armpits.
But fear not Singapore, "Sun Tan" is here to save the day!
Why does she beat Xiao Yun in this?
This week, being the Singapore First Ever Night Race, everyone should be crazy over it right? But, here comes the twist. If you go check the net, you'd realize it's not the F1 people are searching for. Instead it's "Sun Tan"'s scandal everyone is searching for, despite this week being the week of the F1 Race! So the title definitely goes to her.
What's going to happen next??
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
But on a serious note, I'm pretty concerned. And I don't seem to be the only one. People since "tammy nyp" times had already raised questions about the future generations.
(Taken from tammynyp.blogspot.com)
These incidents have not only made teens appear stupid, but showed the world that teens cannot learn from others' mistakes. With the modernization going on around the world, things are bound to happen, and that includes leakage of sex tapes. Apart from encouraging youths to create more sex tapes (due to the fame and attention given), this incidents has also shown that youths not only disrespect their bodies, but also are incapable of making Right decisions in Life.
Despite being a teen, I am disappointed at the rate of teenagers doing stupid things for mere entertainment.
A plea to all youths, stop embarrassing your family, yourself and more importantly Youths of the world.

I'm a 16 year old blogger
Many have told me that I don't blog like my age. I don't know of it's a compliment or criticism.
But what puzzles me the most is that, how do people my age blog?
Do they rant all day about cartoons; like what do Pokemon evolve into?

or much more mature cartoons; like how wolverine should be the leader of X-men revolution, and not Storm?

Do they even talk about cartoons? Youths my age, laugh at people who watch cartoons, because it's "not cool". But I love watching cartoons.
Some Youths tend to blog about fashion, popular places they go to and all the latest trend. Labeling themselves as POPULAR, looking down on "people who don't wear classy clothes", who remind them of historical man apes.

My school mates call them Bimbos and Himbos. But are all youths becoming like that?
Do young bloggers blog by bragging about their traffic flow all day? Or do they stalk famous bloggers online, and "copy and paste" everything?
So how do bloggers my age blog? I have ran out of ideas, and if you have any idea, voice it out.
But i still think Being a Young blogger does have a disadvantage though. As explained here: Click
